Bark & Hike
Terms & Conditions
Draft prepared: 3 October 2026
1. Our services
Bark & Hike offers structured dog adventures and dog training on the Mornington Peninsula. The service, date, duration, price and any inclusions should be agreed with you before a booking is confirmed. Website descriptions provide general information; availability can change.
2. Applications and suitability
An application or meet and greet does not guarantee admission to a pack or ongoing services. Suitability should be assessed with the dog’s wellbeing, behaviour, needs and the safety of the group in mind. Provide accurate contact and dog information, including relevant health issues, behaviour history and triggers, and tell the business when those details change.
3. Bookings and payment
Confirm booking availability, prices, payment arrangements and any applicable service conditions with the business. Specific payment deadlines, deposits, package arrangements and late fees are awaiting confirmation and are not set by this template.
4. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Contact the business as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a booking. Notice periods, cancellation charges and missed pickup arrangements are awaiting confirmation. Any applicable policy should be supplied before booking. Where the business cancels or materially changes a service, discuss an alternative, credit or refund as appropriate, subject to your consumer rights.
5. Health, behaviour and transport
Discuss vaccination, parasite protection, fitness, medication and any handling needs before an outing. Agree pickup access, contact details and transport arrangements in advance. Exact eligibility requirements and emergency veterinary authorisation, including responsibility for costs, must be confirmed separately by the business.
Dogs may encounter water, uneven ground, wildlife and other dogs during adventures. Discuss individual risks and suitability with the handler. This template does not ask you to waive claims or excuse a failure to take reasonable care.
6. Weather and safety
Locations, timing or activities may need to change because of weather, access restrictions or safety concerns. The business should communicate material changes and discuss appropriate booking options. Arrangements for extreme weather, unsuitable dogs and interrupted outings are awaiting confirmation.
7. Training
Training goals and plans should be agreed individually. Progress depends on the dog, environment and practice between sessions, and a particular behaviour outcome cannot be promised. Confirm session fees, assessment charges and any written report or follow-up support before booking.
8. Photos and privacy
Personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Agree any use of identifying photos or videos separately; visiting this website does not grant a blanket media release.
9. Consumer rights and concerns
Nothing in this draft excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Contact the business promptly about a service concern so it can be considered. No blanket exclusion of liability or “no refunds” policy is created by this template.
10. Website and external services
Use the website and portal lawfully and keep account credentials secure. Report suspected unauthorised account access. External booking and social platforms have their own terms. This template does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability.
11. Contact and finalisation
Contact hello@barkandhike.com.au or 0428 494 007. The business must confirm its legal entity details, final service conditions, payment and cancellation policies, emergency arrangements and any jurisdiction clause before replacing this draft. Final terms should be supplied before accepting a booking; changes should not retrospectively alter an existing agreement.
